Marilla of Green Gables

Book Review

Marilla of Green Gables

This book is a spin-off from the book Anne of Green Gables. One never knows with spin-offs if they will be any good. Have no fear. This story is a good one. It was the author’s intention to write a story that Lucy Maud Montgomery would be proud of. Sarah McCoy delivers. It answers the question about John Blythe, “Oh, Marilla – and what happened?” If you loved the original Anne series you will like this book. Marilla of Green Gables is a good, gentle read with a satisfying ending.

I have included the review of Marilla of Green Gables on this blog because the main characters the Cuthberts were Christians. It is refreshing to read a secular novel with a favorable view towards Christianity. I highly recommend this book.
