I’m Not Addicted Anymore!

I 🧡 Fall

Over the last few months I’ve noticed that blogging no longer has a pull on me. I am not compelled to write posts or check my blog as I was last spring.

I’ve waited for awhile before writing this, just in case it wasn’t true. But it’s been a few months now and I believe it is true. I am not addicted to blogging anymore.

What do I contribute this change to? Prayer. My prayers and others. By making my struggles known, my dear friends in Christ have prayed for me. More than that, Jesus heard my struggles, and freedom came from God through Jesus Christ. For the whole story see Help! I’m Addicted I II and III.

I am thankful for my praying sisters and brothers. But mostly, I am thankful to Jesus Christ, who gave Himself that I might have life and freedom.

If Jesus can free me He can set you free, too. Just Ask Him.

I love Jesus! He is my eternal hope, fullness of joy, calm in the storm and so much more. I enjoy reading, cooking, blogging and bird watching. I have two wonderful kids and a loving husband. God is good.

  1. I struggled with this too, now I can’t seem to be satisfied because I’ve backed off blogging yet fallen behind on reading posts …which I miss!!

    I love this:
‘By making my struggles known, my dear friends in Christ have prayed for me.’❤️❤️❤️

  2. I can relate. For me, I was checking notifications and posts so often. Multiple times a day. What a dreadful addiction, especially when there are real life things to do. Now, the Lord has me on an “as needed” or “as instructed” basis.
