What am I Going to do?

left human hand photo

It was the hardest life challenge I ever faced. I cried for weeks and got terribly depressed. I did everything I knew to do but nothing got better. That’s when I (finally) looked up. For the first time in my life I opened my hand and released it.

God was faithful. He did not remove the problem but He helped me through it and He continues to.

Experiencing God’s faithfulness increased my faith. After this I saw I was falling short of what God wanted for me. I trusted Him with myself. Like building blocks one thing lead to another.

Maybe for you this difficulty is about your health, wealth, employment, a relationship, a child, a sibling or…

God’s goal for His children is that we eventually let go and commit every bit to Him.

Come to Me,
all who are weary and
heavy-laden,
and I will give you rest.
— Jesus

I love Jesus! He is my eternal hope, fullness of joy, calm in the storm and so much more. I enjoy reading, cooking, blogging and bird watching. I have two wonderful kids and a loving husband. God is good.

  1. So perfect. I went through the biggest trial of my Faith So far this year (Losing someone we truly believed would be healed), but of course he always works things for our good.
Thank you for your encouraging post. ❤️

    1. I am sorry for your loss. God works things for our good at times is a painful truth. We must believe it in the face of heart-break. I pray you are recovering from this grief. 💗

  2. God is truly with us always. We have to trust Him in His timing and process.
May you rest in His presence through whatever you are going through. May He fill you with his peace and strength during this time.
