Last Saturday I got my first Covid-19 vaccination. The clinic was set up like an assembly line in the basement of a medical center. After getting vaccinated my husband and I sat down to wait 15 minutes before we could leave. On the walls were two large digital clocks. We watched them while we waited.

Why does a loving God allow suffering? Inadvertently, a past post answered this question, at least in part. To begin with it must be understood that people, not God, are the source of suffering. God created a perfect world. The first man and woman though warned, disobeyed God.1 The result of this choice brought suffering, misery and pain to their world and ours.
