What a courageous step the Supreme Court has taken!
A BIG THUMBS UP to the U.S. Supreme Court for overruling Roe v. Wade.¹ Last post I wrote that people and animal rights are getting crazier the older I get. The elimination of one of these rights is not only “music to my ears” it’s right on!

Richard Nixon’s presidency was during an impressionable time in my life. I was in high school and college when he was President. I followed the Watergate scandal closely as it unfolded. I can still remember Nixon’s speech, to the nation the night he resigned, “for the good of the nation.”
LGBTQ people are trying to raise their civil rights above religious rights.¹ They are doing this by the legislation called The Equality Act. If this passes you will not have the right to voice or practice a different belief, without being hassled, bullied, sued, fined, or imprisoned.
I have a sincere conviction that marriage is a covenant agreement between a man and a woman. This conviction is based on the Bible. I believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible and authoritative Word.
I am a Christian so whenever a Democrat becomes President I am concerned. It feels like the ground is shifting under my feet. I wonder what it will mean for Christians. I speculate whether Christians will be persecuted with the inevitable changes.
As a Christian, how can I say President Joe Biden is God’s man for our times? Especially after Biden just lifted the transgender military ban. Am I deluded? Would you believe God showed me this while I was reading the Bible and praying?
Christian evangelicals helped vote Ronald Reagan, both Bushes and Donald Trump into office. Conservatives began voicing their concerns, about America’s morality, following the establishment of the Moral Majority in 1979. Their goal was to call America back to its moral roots. By 1989 the movement disbanded having accomplished its goals.¹
Christian over-involvement in politics has troubled me for forty years. I am concerned for the following reasons.
